Wasdale Head in Wasdale

Every July, usually the second Saturday

One of the Lakeland Classics, the Wasdale race links the high fells around Wasdale Head over a long and very demanding course. It is for seasoned mountain runners only, but the valley is a grand place to watch the finish.
