Patterdale Dog Day

Sat, 28 August 2027

Patterdale show field, Patterdale, Ullswater in Glenridding

Every August, Saturday of the bank holiday weekend

Built around an open sheepdog trial, this 122nd show at the head of Ullswater also has hound and terrier classes, stick showing and fell races, with the Helvellyn fells as a backdrop. It remains a genuinely traditional dale gathering rather than a big commercial show. Arrive early on the bank holiday Saturday, as the valley road gets busy.

Dates are from the organiser. Always check their page before you travel.
